Decisions Can Be Tricky
We often worry over a big decision, wondering if we’re making the right choice.
We understand that a big decision can be life-changing. Like the decision to get married, your choice of a career, or where you decide to live. Change any of those pivotal moments, and everything would be different.
But, what about the smaller decisions we make every day? Or the choices we make all the time, by not taking any action at all? What about the choice to ignore that voice inside that’s saying there’s more to life than this? Most of the time, our journey is determined by the smaller choices we make all day long.
That’s scary stuff because it means that every moment of your life has consequences. Every choice or non-choice has an effect. But that can be liberating too. Right now you have dozens of choices, and you can choose any of them.
“Men stumble over pebbles, never over mountains.” ~Marilyn French
Every moment gives you another opportunity. Right now, you have another opportunity to change the course of your life. You can choose to stay where you are, or you can choose to improve your life. Change is not easy. But, if you are not happy with your current situation, that’s not easy either. You can tear down the walls that have been holding you back. Those walls were built by you, through all the small choices you’ve made over the years.
Get started today by creating an image of the person you want to be, in as much detail as possible. Then start taking the actions necessary to become that person. Make every decision count, because, they lead you to the person you become tomorrow.
